FTS Systems has been a leading manufacturer of thermal management systems for over thirty years, including controlled
rate freezers, sample coolers and innovative pilot and production freeze dryers. Popular products include Biocool
controlled rate freezers, AirJet benchtop temperature cycling systems, and Lyostar freeze dryers.
FTS Systems is also well known for their SMART freeze-drying system, which is designed to accelerate the development
of freeze-drying cycles for protein-based therapeutics. Built on a foundation of advanced thermal engineering,
all FTS products feature ultra-reliable, low temperature performance, with robust, easy-to-use controls.
The inclusion of FTS into Biopharma’s portfolio comes after FTS’ acquisition by SP Industries, a global supplier
of freeze dryers and laboratory equipment. VirTis freeze dryers, also a part of SP Industries, have been distributed
by Biopharma for over 10 years.
