The VirTis AdVantagePLUS offers advanced freeze dryer performance in a convenient bench-top system.

AdVantagePLUS is our most widely sold freeze dryer, popular in many research laboratories and universities due to its extensive features and freeze-drying capability that includes both controlled shelf drying and external flask drying. It is available with up to three stainless steel, fluid cooled shelves that operate to -70°C, a stoppering option and with a condenser capacity of 6 litres and lowest temperature of -85°C. The standard Wizard2 control system is available across the range of VirTis freeze dryers up to pilot scale, multi-shelf systems with similar design considerations and shelf area of 2.1m2 so scale up from the benchtop VirTis AdVantage PLUS is made easy.

Standard Wizard2 offers on-board storage of up to 16 different recipes each with 12 thermal treatment (freezing) steps and 16 drying steps but can be enhanced by the Wizard2 PC software option which provides improved user interaction, historical trending function and a useful system synoptic. Use of the PC software allows data storage and manipulation to assist with batch records and report writing.
