miVac Centrifugal Vacuum Concentrators
miVac is a range of centrifugal concentrators capable of removing water and organic solvents from a variety of sample
formats including tubes, microplates and vials.
Centrifugal concentrators balance low pressures and centrifugal forces to encourage solvents to evaporate away without
boiling out or ejecting material out of the container. The solvent vapour can then be captured by a refrigerated condenser
or cold trap.
miVac Duo and Quattro
These two precision-engineered systems allow you to safely concentrate your samples or to take them through to complete dryness.
The Duo will accept a two-swing microplate holder or disc rotor, while the larger Quattro holds a four-swing holder or much higher
capacity rotors. Their compact size saves valuable bench space while simple, robust design ensures years of reliable service.

SpeedTrap
The miVac SpeedTrap is a high power cold trap used to condense solvent vapours. Cold traps can significantly improve the performance
of any vacuum concentration system, and the SpeedTrap is uniquely designed for efficiency and simplicity.
miVac DNA
miVac DNA is an integrated system designed specifically for working with nucleic acids (RNA and DNA). It is supplied with everything
needed: concentration chamber, built-in high performance vacuum pump, and fixed aluminium rotor for 1.5 or 2ml micro-centrifure tubes
(other rotors are available). Concentration time and temperature are displayed on the front and parameters can be easily set using the
simple controls.
